At Ashtons Tours and Safaris, we are constantly looking at ways to enhance our guests’ experience by providing the best possible service, comfortable vehicles and experienced drivers. With the launch of our new publication, Ashtons: Into the Wild, we believe that our guests’ experience is now further improved as they can sit back, relax and enjoy the ‘in-transit’ magazine whilst travelling to their destination. Free copies are provided on all Ashtons’ scheduled shuttle and private transfer vehicles as well as being distributed to local and international members of the travel trade.
The launch edition has been released with a distribution of 5000 copies for the March to May period. The quarterly publication will include interesting articles on wildlife, conservation, Greater Kruger history and news, as well as lifestyle and current affairs. Of course, what would an Ashtons magazine be without some useful Ashtons product information? We reveal more about some of the lodges that are on offer in the Greater Kruger, profile our amazing team and highlight information relating to the local communities in Ashtons’ primary areas of operation.
In the launch edition we profile Nourish, whose aim is to help create and grow a more resilient and healthy community through sustainable education and farming projects. Our support of organisations and NPOs with such aims reflects our commitment to the preservation and conservation of wildlife and the upliftment of the local communities. On a lighter note, we discuss the cooking method that so many South African’s have adopted as their own – the braai!
We hope our guests are as excited by the magazine as our team and writers have been about putting it together. We look forward to putting together the next edition with more valuable information and insights into Ashtons, our transfers and the interesting people with whom we interact.
