Embarking on an African Safari

An African Safari is a life changing experience and the weeks running up to your holiday will be filled with both excitement and anticipation. It is therefore extremely important to do as much research on your chosen destination as possible, get all you can from resources such as TripAdvisor and travel blogs.  Pack the anti-malaria tablets and total sunblock, your safari hat and binoculars; this is Africa after all – you need to come well equipped!

Having said all of this, it is also vital not to focus so much on ticking everything off of your wish list that you forget the most beautiful things in life are not things, They’re people, places, memories and pictures. They’re feelings and moments that take your breath away …2

Just be, let your safari unfold in its own time and open yourself up to new and unexpected experiences – experiences that you will carry with you for the rest of your life.3

The silence, the sounds, the solitude, the wide horizons, the stars at night – Saragossa.
