The new Boeing 787

Kenya Airways begins flying its recently acquired Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Paris from June 3 this year as it boosts capacity to meet the growing demand on the route.

The airline will fly the state-of-the-art aircraft between its hub at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi and the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France.  At the moment, the route is served by a Boeing 767 aircraft.

Kenya Airways Group Managing Directoe and Chief Executive Officer, Titus Naikuni, said that the advanced features on the new aircraft will deliver a world class experience to customers on the Nairobi-Paris route.
“Paris is a great destination in Europe and our increased capacity there is a strategic move that will offer strong business and cultural opportunities to our customers as well as seek to expand our reach into the European market,” Dr Naikuni added.

The enhanced features of a B787 include a quieter, smoother flight, lower cabin pressure, higher humidity levels and ambient mood lighting, contributing to a more rested feeling upon arrival in addition to cutting edge aesthetics.
